We verify the candidate’s identity using original documents and run a real-time statutory check via the Home Office system to confirm their unrestricted right to work in the UK.

We inspect the Enhanced DBS Certificate and verify its live status on the DBS Update Service, and check against the Children’s Barred List to ensure the candidate is legally cleared for regulated activity.

We verify QTS status with the Teaching Regulation Agency. Crucially, we check for any active prohibition orders or Section 128 restrictions that would bar them from a classroom or leadership role.

We audit their full employment history, backed by a minimum of two professional references from previous employers. We also complete screening in line with current Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidelines.
